My family is obsessed with Waffles. Let's be honest, the obsession started with me. Waffles are my fave and I want them to be packed with protein and not just carbs, I want them to be delicious without syrup. Because I want abs!
Here are our favorites:
These cashew waffles are AMAZING! The texture is perfect and you would never know they were made with cashews! They are from Against All Grain
Paleo Banana waffles.These are naturally sweet and my kids love a few chocolate chips thrown in.
Paleo Banana waffles
4 Bananas
8 eggs
1/2 cup nut butter
2 tsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
Tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
5-6 Tbs of coconut flour.
Blend all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth. Cook on greased waffle iron.
Try out a waffle with 5 Tbs and if they hold together you are good. Add more if they fall apart. They are still delicious if they fall apart.
Pumpkin Protein Waffles
8 eggs
2 cup cottage cheese
2 cup gf flour or oats
1 15 Oz can pumpkin puree
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp vanilla
Blend in a blender till smooth. Cook in a waffle iron.
These happen at least 4 times a week. My kids devour the whole batch!!!!
